Lars Sullivan has zero sympathy for anyone upset about AEW losing ground on SiriusXM. After Thunder Rosa left Busted Open and questions started flying about AEW coverage disappearing, the former WWE star told people to calm down and find another show.
Sullivan reacted to coverage of the SiriusXM shakeup and made it clear he does not think the platform matters enough for people to be angry.
“SiriusXM is irrelevant anyway. Calm down, marks. You can hear plenty of AEW commentary elsewhere.”
That was the whole message. Sullivan thinks people are overreacting, SiriusXM is not important and AEW talk is easy to find somewhere else. His comment came after Rosa confirmed that she was leaving Busted Open following four years on the show. Her departure came after WWE Radio was announced and she was left out of the new SiriusXM lineup. Rosa said the show gave her a chance to represent AEW and connect with wrestling listeners around the world. She also thanked Tony Khan for allowing her to take on the role.
“After four unforgettable years, it’s time to turn the page.”
“I’m especially grateful to Tony Khan for believing in me, trusting me to represent AEW and allowing me to contribute my voice.”
WWE Radio is now taking over a larger part of SiriusXM’s wrestling programming with RAW, SmackDown, NXT, Premium Live Event coverage and shows featuring WWE talent.
Rosa’s exit has made it look like AEW voices could be pushed aside as WWE moves in. Sullivan’s response was simple—stop complaining. Whether people agree with him or not, he did not leave much room for confusion. He thinks the outrage is pointless and AEW listeners should go somewhere else.
