Ex-WWE Star Debuts on October 25 AEW Collision

AEW Collision delivered a surprise this week when Nixon Newell—formerly known as Tegan Nox in WWE—made her shocking debut alongside Miranda Alize.

The two stormed onto the scene to confront Tay Melo and Anna Jay, setting the stage for an tag team clash. The segment ended with a tag match officially being made between the two teams, adding even more heat to the AEW Women’s Tag Team Title tournament. TayJay are already scheduled to face Penelope Ford and Megan Bayne in the first round, but now they’ve got even more enemies in the locker room.

For Newell, this appearance marks her first in AEW since being released by WWE in November 2024. Since then, she’s been active on the independent scene and frequently found herself across the ring from Miranda Alize—who has her own history in Ring of Honor and is a standout in Texas indy promotions.
