Former WWE star Carmella didn’t hold back after seeing an AEW talent use a move she believes was taken straight from her playbook.
The moment happened during the April 25 episode of AEW Collision, when B3CCA used a submission move that closely resembled Carmella’s signature Code of Silence during her match against Kris Statlander. After clips began circulating online, fans quickly tagged Carmella and compared the move to her well-known finisher.
That’s when Carmella responded on social media, making it clear she didn’t view the move as a simple tribute.
"hmmm.. there’s a difference between homage and theft…"
Her comment directly suggested she believed the move crossed the line from inspiration into copying. Carmella didn’t stop there either, adding another message that hinted she may not be finished competing in the ring.
"I didn’t retire, I had two babies… might have to come back and show these b*tches how it’s really done💰"
B3CCA occasionally appears in AEW matches, and while similar moves are often shared across wrestling promotions, Carmella’s public accusation has now fueled debate about originality and respect for signature maneuvers.
