BJ Ray isn’t giving up on getting Tony Khan’s attention.
Months after publicly pitching himself to the AEW President following his WWE release, the former WWE LFG star is back with another direct message aimed squarely at Khan.
On May 30, BJ Ray took to Twitter and invited Khan to tune into an Instagram Live wrestling match later that evening.
“@TonyKhan tonight I will be wrestling on my IG live around 10:30ish eastern. Would love for you to tap in and watch 🙌”
The post marks the latest attempt by Ray to get on AEW’s radar. Back in October 2025, shortly after news broke that he had been released by WWE, Ray publicly reached out to Khan and made it clear he was looking for his next opportunity. At the time, he posted:
“@TonyKhan Your boy is ready… call me 📞 – The Ratings Machine (aka SexyBJRay)”
Ray’s release came shortly after he revealed that he had wrestled through two seasons of WWE LFG while dealing with a torn rotator cuff and torn labrum before eventually undergoing surgery.
Since leaving WWE, Ray has continued promoting himself online while keeping his name in wrestling conversations. His latest tweet suggests he’s still hoping to land on AEW’s radar and is willing to put his work directly in front of Khan to make that happen.
Whether Tony Khan actually tuned in is unknown, but BJ Ray is making sure AEW’s boss knows exactly where to find him. For now, the former WWE prospect continues to campaign for his next big break, one tweet at a time.
