Veronica West apparently wasn’t finished with American Psycho after grabbing an axe and recreating one of the movie’s most infamous scenes earlier this month. This time, the former WWE EVOLVE star went even deeper into Patrick Bateman territory by giving fans her own completely unhinged version of his daily routine.
West uploaded another American Psycho video on Twitter, recreating the famous scene where Christian Bale’s Patrick Bateman walks viewers through his obsessive routine. The video starts with West in the bathroom noticing a camera and mouthing, “What the f***?” before heading into the kitchen and beginning her day.
She then starts narrating her life in the same cold, overly serious style Bateman uses in the movie. Of course, West’s version is considerably more ridiculous, with references to bothering her parents, killing a bug and stealing her sister’s pudding cups.
“I’m currently staying in Tucson, Arizona, in the Marina District, bothering my parents. My name is Veronica West, 22 years old. There is a bug on my mirror. I squash it, and it leaves a mark. I believe in taking care of myself with a balanced diet and rigorous exercise. I stole my sister’s pudding cups — dumb b****.”
From there, West moves into the exercise and skincare portion of the routine, doing some stretching and jumping jacks before applying different products to her face. She keeps the dead-serious Bateman delivery going while throwing in some pretty wild descriptions of what she’s using.
“After my IBS settles, I stretch. I make sure my muscles are intact. I will not look like a fool. I apply a banana bubble mask and let it soak into my skin. In order to keep myself young, I apply some anti-aging serum — it looks like semen. I shake up this hydrating spray and spray it on my face.”
West saves one of the biggest American Psycho references for the end of the video. She puts her own spin on Bateman’s famous monologue about there being an “idea” of Patrick Bateman rather than a real person underneath everything, while flashing some very Bateman-esque smiles at the camera.
“There is an idea of a Veronica West, some sort of abstraction, but there is no real me — just an entity and borderline personality disorder and IBS.”
This isn’t West’s first time going full Patrick Bateman either. On October 19, she dressed up in his signature clear raincoat, grabbed an axe and recreated the infamous Paul Allen scene, even referencing Bateman’s Huey Lewis and the News speech with the caption, “One of their undisputed masterpieces☝️.”
Apparently one American Psycho recreation just wasn’t enough. West has now gone from axe-wielding Patrick Bateman to skincare-routine Patrick Bateman in the space of nine days, so she seems pretty committed to keeping the bit going.
