The entertainment world has lost another familiar voice. Eric Bauza, the Emmy Award-winning actor best known for voicing Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck, has died at the age of 46. While millions knew him for his work with Looney Tunes, WWE fans may also recognize his voice from several animated movies featuring WWE Superstars.

Bauza’s family confirmed his passing in a statement shared on his official Instagram account on October 25, 2026. The family described his death as sudden and said more information would be released.

“Eric Bauza, Emmy Award-winning voice actor and the modern voice of iconic Looney Tunes characters Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck, along with dozens of other beloved cartoon characters, has passed away suddenly. More details to come.”

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner has since listed hypertensive cardiovascular disease as his cause of death. Bauza died on October 25 at his residence.

Bauza had several connections to WWE throughout his career. He voiced Dino and Bam Bam in The Flintstones & WWE: Stone Age SmackDown!, Rolf Rodriquez in The Jetsons & WWE: Robo-WrestleMania!, and Big Earl in Scooby-Doo! and WWE: Curse of the Speed Demon. He also recently worked on Coyote vs. Acme, which featured John Cena in a live-action role. Bauza provided the voices of several Looney Tunes characters in the movie, including Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck.

Outside WWE, Bauza built an impressive career that included work on SpongeBob SquarePants, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Rick and Morty, The Fairly OddParents, and X-Men ’97. He became one of the most recognizable voices in modern animation, taking on characters that generations of fans grew up watching.

His work earned him three Children’s and Family Emmy Awards, including recognition for his performances in Looney Tunes Cartoons, Bugs Bunny Builders, and Teen Titans Go!

Bauza’s death comes as a shock to the animation industry and fans who followed his work for decades. His connection to WWE’s animated movies also means wrestling fans have heard his work in several projects that brought their favorite Superstars into the cartoon world.
