Elayna Black is heading into TNA Slammiversary with one thing on her mind, and that is stirring up trouble.
TNA heads to Boston this weekend for Slammiversary, and the Knockouts Championship match between Lei Ying Lee and Xia Brookside may not stay clean if Black has anything to say about it. She made it clear that her eyes are still locked on that title, and she is not ruling out jumping right into the middle of things.
While speaking with Jimmy V3, Black said Slammiversary is a big moment for her because she grew up watching TNA. That said, she is not just showing up to smile and enjoy the view.
“Hey, I’m super excited for Slammiversary. You know, I grew up a huge TNA fan, so I’m happy to be a part of my first one.”
Then she made it very clear that the TNA Knockouts Championship has been her target since day one.
“Look, all I’m going to say is my eyes have been on that TNA Knockouts title since I walked in the doors on the AMC premiere January 15th, and that goal has not changed six months later.”
Black said she does not know exactly what Slammiversary will look like for her yet, but she knows she will be in the building and causing problems.
“So with that being said, right now, I don’t know what Slam looks like for me. I know I’m going to be there. I’m going to be causing chaos. I’m going to be getting into some things.”
Then came the real warning. Black teased that she could either watch the Knockouts Title match or get involved herself.
“Maybe I’ll be watching the TNA Knockouts title match. Maybe I’ll insert myself into the TNA Knockouts title match. I don’t know what that has in store yet.”
That is exactly the kind of line that should have Lei Ying Lee and Xia Brookside looking over their shoulders. Slammiversary already has a Knockouts Title match locked in, but Black is clearly making sure her name is part of the conversation before the bell even rings. Elayna Black may not have officially announced her plan, but she said enough. She wants the title, she will be at Slammiversary, and chaos is apparently on the menu.
