Elayna Black has her eyes locked on the TNA Knockouts Championship, and she’s not backing down from any stipulation thrown her way.
While speaking on the Hitting The Turnbuckle Podcast, Black was asked about possibly competing in a Knockouts Championship Ultimate X match or even a ladder match at Slammiversary. The former WWE star admitted that heights make her nervous, but she made it clear that her fear won’t matter once the title is on the line.
“Listen, that sounds great. I’m all for, you know, extreme everything. I’ve done a death match in my time, jumped off a cage in my time, you know, all that kind of stuff.”
Elayna Black then admitted the Ultimate X setup would be intimidating, especially with the pressure of grabbing the championship and landing safely. Still, her goal is bigger than the fear.
“However, I am a little bit scared of being up there. Not only do I have to be up there, I have to grab it and then land with the title. But you know what? I want that Knockouts title so bad—I don’t care what I have to do. I don’t care how high I have to climb.”
She also revealed that a ladder match remains one of the few match types she has never done, despite always wanting to step into one.
“And hey, even if it was a ladder match—that’s another thing I’ve never done. That’s one of the only matches I’ve never done. I’ve never done a ladder match yet. Always wanted to, still haven’t done it yet.”
Black made it clear that Slammiversary could open the door to several wild possibilities, whether that means ladders, Ultimate X, cages, or something else entirely. No matter the match type, she believes the result will be the same.
“So there’s a lot of possibilities here. And all I’m saying is, when it comes to Slammiversary, if it comes to ladders, Ultimate X, cages—even—it doesn’t matter. All fear goes out the window because that TNA title is going to be mine.”
Black also pictured what winning the Knockouts Title would mean on a personal level, especially with Chicago in her sights. She then made her championship intentions loud and clear, stating that she’s coming for the title no matter what.
“And like I said, I would love to walk into Chicago with the title, go out to eat with my family, show off my title, and tell everyone that I kept the title and kicked someone’s ass in a cage match to keep it. So that’s my goal. I’m putting it out there. I’m manifesting—we’re going to see what happens. But all I’m saying is, it doesn’t matter if it’s Ultimate X, a ladder match, or whatever it is—I’m not going to be scared. I’m coming for that Knockouts title.”
This comes after Black previously opened up about finding more creative freedom in TNA compared to her WWE run. Now, she’s turning that confidence into a direct warning for the Knockouts division. Whether Slammiversary gives her Ultimate X, ladders, or a cage, Elayna Black says she is ready to chase the title by any means necessary.
