El Hijo del Vikingo has some good news for fans after revealing he’d need another knee operation. Less than a day after announcing the procedure, the AAA star confirmed everything went according to plan.

On October 6, Vikingo took to Instagram to share photos from his hospital bed following the operation, letting fans know that his second knee surgery was a success.

“God is with me I can’t lose, thanks for your support the operation was successful 🙏🙏🙏”

The update comes after Vikingo surprised fans by revealing he would need another operation as he continues recovering from the torn ACL that has kept him out of action for months. At the time, he didn’t explain why another procedure was necessary or whether it would affect his expected return timeline.

Before that announcement, Vikingo had been sharing encouraging rehab updates and even said he believed he was about seven months away from returning to the ring. He has consistently documented his recovery process while thanking WWE, AAA, his medical team and his family for supporting him throughout rehab.

For now, there’s still no word on whether this latest surgery changes his timetable, but the most important news is that the operation was successful. With that hurdle now behind him, Vikingo can turn his attention back to recovery as he continues working toward his in-ring return.
