Dominik Mysterio turned TripleMania 34 Night One into his own personal mess after getting into a heated confrontation with a group of podcasters in the crowd — and he didn’t just talk trash.
Members of Mexican podcast Chicos Toxicos were at TripleMania 34 Night One when Dominik walked over and things went bad fast. Footage from the group shows the AAA Mega Champion throwing a bottle in their direction before shoving one of the podcasters and sending the group stumbling.
That was enough to set them off. Once Dominik walked away, one of the podcasters immediately told the others to go to the car and made a pretty loaded comment about what was waiting under his seat.
“Just go to the car, under my seat. You know what’s under there.”
Another guy was even more direct and made it clear he wasn’t planning to let the situation end inside the building.
“The match might end, but I’m still catching him outside.”
Then Rey Mysterio somehow got dragged into it too. One of the podcasters joked that after what just happened, he might need to start wearing Rey’s mask.
“I need a Rey Mysterio mask because I told you, he’s been wishy-washy lately.”
Dominik had already spent part of the night getting involved in family business. He accompanied Omos for his match against Rey Mysterio, where Omos needed to win to get his AAA suspension lifted.
Rey tried just about everything once the referee went down — a steel chair, two 619s, a West Coast Pop and a frog splash. Dominik and El Grande Americano also got involved before Omos finally caught Rey with a chokeslam and pinned him to earn his reinstatement.
Now Dominik has a title defense coming at TripleMania 34 Night Two against El Grande Americano, but instead of keeping his head down before the match, he spent Night One chucking bottles and putting hands on people in the crowd. That’s one way to warm up.
