David Arquette wants back in the wrestling mix, and this time he has AEW in his sights.

During a Reddit AMA, the former WCW World Champion said he would love to do something with AEW, pointing out that he already has plenty of friends working there.Arquette also named several people he would want to work with if the opportunity came together.

“On a side note, I would love to do something on AEW. So many of my friends work there and I have unfinished business with Jeff Jarrett and would love to work with Jack Perry and sadly RJ City, not to mention Dalton Castle!”

The Jeff Jarrett part stands out, since Arquette made it clear he sees that as unfinished business instead of just tossing out a random name. Arquette also has history with RJ City and has attended AEW events in the past, so there’s already some crossover between him and the company.

The comments came while Arquette was answering a question about which movie from his career he would most like to make a sequel to. He picked “Ready to Rumble,” but quickly shifted the conversation back to wrestling and AEW.

“I think if I was to make any sequel it would be READY TO RUMBLE. There is such a huge love of wrestling and that film and there would be so much, especially if WWE was involved.”

Arquette may be best known in wrestling circles for his infamous WCW World Championship run, but he has never really stayed completely away from the business. Now he’s openly throwing AEW out there as a place he would like to show up. Whether AEW ever takes him up on it is another question, but Arquette already has names in mind if Tony Khan decides to make the call.

Would you want to see David Arquette show up in AEW, and who should he work with first? Let us know what you think in the comments.
