Daria Rae has opened up about her future with TNA Wrestling as her current deal with the company gets closer to expiring.
Formerly known to WWE fans as Sonya Deville, Daria Rae debuted in TNA Wrestling during the premiere episode of Thursday Night iMPACT on AMC back in January 2026. She immediately stepped into a major on-screen role as the authority figure opposing Santino Marella, who currently serves as TNA’s Director of Authority.
Now, with June approaching, Rae confirmed that her contract situation is still unresolved.
During a virtual signing with East Coast Autograph Auctions, Rae was asked directly whether she had signed a new deal with TNA. She stopped short of giving a definitive answer.
“Did I re-sign with TNA? Well, my contract is not up until the month of June so, you will have to see. We will see.”
Although her long-term status remains uncertain, Rae is still actively involved on TNA television. She appeared during the live May 14 episode of Thursday Night iMPACT and officially announced a TNA World Championship match for the May 21 show.
Since arriving in TNA earlier this year, Daria Rae has quickly become one of the promotion’s central television personalities thanks to her ongoing power struggle storyline with Santino Marella. With her contract expiration now getting closer, it’ll be interesting to see whether TNA locks her into a longer-term deal.
Do you want to see Daria Rae stay in TNA long term, or would you rather see her eventually return to WWE? Leave your thoughts and feedback in the comments.
