Danhausen has plenty of ideas for what he wants to do outside the wrestling ring, but one of them would basically require turning him yellow. He wants to become part of The Simpsons, and he already knows exactly where his strange little corner of Springfield could fit.
While speaking to BANG Showbiz, Danhausen was fantasy-booking his television career and pitched a sitcom called The Danhausens. His dream guest list was appropriately all over the place, with Conan O’Brien, Danzig, Sabrina Carpenter, Megan Thee Stallion and “Weird Al” Yankovic among the names he’d like involved. The interviewer then threw another possibility at him: getting Danhausen onto The Simpsons. That one didn’t require much convincing.
“Oh yes, that’s a dream. So we got to make that dream come true. Danhausen, even if you want to put Danhausen in a Treehouse of Horror as a guest star, that would be great. Let’s get it in there. Let’s put it out in the universe.”
A Treehouse of Horror appearance would certainly make sense for a character built around curses, horror imagery and being “very nice, very evil.” Danhausen didn’t suggest there’s anything actually in the works, though. For now, this is firmly on his personal wish list.
Still, Danhausen has officially put the idea out into the universe. Whether Springfield is ready for him is another question entirely, but Treehouse of Horror probably has room for at least one very evil guest.
