Dana Brooke has been working hard to earn an opportunity to have a bigger role in WWE. Vince McMahon had his eye on Brooke for a top spot on the roster, but that seemed to slip away a long time ago. Now Brooke is still fighting to be noticed.
Sam Roberts absolutely roasted Dana Brooke on commentary during Main Event last week. This was a very brutal tactic to take as an announcer and got a lot of people talking.
Dana Brooke was able to pull off a win this week on Main Event over Ruby Riott. This might be a sign of what is to come after the Riott Squad’s disbandment, but Brooke had a special message for Sam Roberts in the meantime.
“Start eating your words @notsam”
Sam Roberts isn’t one to usually “eat his words.” He didn’t even apologize for what he said about Bianca Belair before her big match at NXT TakeOver: Phoenix. It probably still made Dana Brooke very happy to pull down that win.
