Conor McGregor Addresses Possible WWE Future After Roman Reigns Diss

Conor McGregor took his little shot at Roman Reigns, but when it comes to actually doing WWE business, he’s not promising a damn thing.

After Roman showed up at UFC Freedom 250 at the White House, TKO posted him as “The OTC” in the building. Roman reposted it with his usual ☝ emoji, and Conor hopped in with one word: “Who?” Classic Conor. Quick, disrespectful, and enough to get wrestling fans talking.

But when Adam’s Apple asked him whether WWE could be in his future, the Notorious One didn’t exactly say he was lacing up boots. McGregor’s bigger point was that TKO may have missed a layup at UFC Freedom 250.

With WWE and UFC under the same roof now, he thinks the company should be putting UFC fighters and WWE stars next to each other, where the public can see it. Let the cameras catch it. Let fans start asking questions. Let the business build itself.

“I don’t know, bro—don’t know. They’re going to platform their own combatants and, you know, put them next to these guys, put them next to our guys, let it be seen by the public, and then we’d actually have something to look forward to on our side—bouts to look forward to. But remember, these guys cash in here and there, etc., etc.—that builds the story.”

Conor can troll Roman Reigns with one word, but that doesn’t mean he’s about to show up on Raw. If anything, he sounds like he wants TKO to do more with the crossover machine before anyone starts pretending there’s a real match or angle on the table.

Bottom line, McGregor gave Roman a slap on social media, then made it clear his WWE future is still one big question mark. But he definitely thinks UFC and WWE should be sitting a lot closer together if TKO wants fans to really buy into the crossover hype.
