WWE Clash in Italy took place on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at the Inalpi Arena in Turin, Italy. After the event was over, WWE got right to work on hyping their next big event. The event closed out with Roman Reigns celebrating, but then things got a bit mouthy.

As WWE Clash in Italy went off the air, someone from Roman Reigns’ bloodline could be heard saying, “f*ck a QB1, it’s all about the Tribal Chief.” This was an obvious shot, and Cody Rhodes didn’t hear it firsthand.

When Cody Rhodes made his way out to the post show panel, he was asked about this comment from the Bloodline. Rhodes made it clear that he has no issue facing Roman Reigns as well.

“I think it’s a unique position to be in to say something negative or for him to say something negative about me, and it’s for the simple fact that I don’t have two wins over him and he doesn’t have two wins over me. He beat me once and I beat his ass once. So, I don’t know, add him to the list along with GUNTHER. I’m easy to find but hard to beat that goes for Roman Reigns as well.”

WWE has a lot of things going on right now. Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes are two of the top stars in the company, but it might take a lot to keep them apart. At this point, anything can happen, because it seems that nobody is backing down from that encounter.

What’s your take on Cody Rhodes versus Roman Reigns down the line? Who would win that match? Let us know what you think in the comments section!
