CM Punk and Kevin Owens are finally getting their hands on each other, and WWE has already locked in the date. The two have been blaming each other for their problems involving the Undisputed WWE Championship, and now they’ll get the chance to settle things in the ring. WWE has officially announced that Punk and Owens will face off on November 6 in Brooklyn, New York.

The match was confirmed during the October 23, 2026 episode of WWE SmackDown, when Nick Aldis appeared in a video alongside both men. Aldis announced that Punk and Owens would face each other in two weeks on SmackDown before giving them a chance to speak their minds.

Punk immediately made it clear that he didn’t want to be there. He called the entire conversation a waste of his time and blamed Owens for costing him the Undisputed WWE Championship.

Owens wasn’t having any of that. He fired back by saying Punk wouldn’t be facing Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel anyway. Owens also argued that he should be the Undisputed WWE Champion right now because of Punk’s actions, not the other way around.

Things got personal when Owens brought up Punk’s time away from WWE. Owens said he was perfectly happy ignoring Punk while he was gone and eventually realized that interacting with Punk was what made him miserable in the first place.

Punk responded by telling Owens that he didn’t know him. Owens had an answer for that too, saying he knew enough people who had dealt with Punk over the years to know exactly what kind of person he was.

The confrontation made it pretty clear that neither man is interested in backing down, especially with both believing the other is responsible for keeping him away from the Undisputed WWE Championship.

Now they’ll have the opportunity to do something about it when SmackDown comes to Brooklyn on Friday, November 6, just one day before WWE Crown Jewel. With both men carrying a grudge and blaming each other for their championship problems, this won’t be just another match on SmackDown.

Who do you think will come out on top when CM Punk and Kevin Owens finally face each other in Brooklyn? Let us know in the comments.
