CM Punk took one hell of a beating against Kevin Owens on SmackDown, and he’s already decided one loss isn’t enough to settle things between them. Punk has now made it pretty clear what he wants next after their No Holds Barred war.

Speaking during the WWE Crown Jewel Countdown show, Punk addressed his November 6 loss to Owens and immediately took a shot at the man who beat him. Owens needed a steel chain wrapped around his hand to finally put Punk away, and Punk certainly hasn’t forgotten about it.

“My takeaway was that I got beat by a human ham sandwich because he got his hand wrapped with a steel chain. That’s what you sign up for. This is the job. I’m not complaining or making excuses like everyone else does. I need a rematch — anyone can beat me once.”

Punk might claim he isn’t making excuses, but he clearly doesn’t consider the result the end of the conversation. After everything the two put each other through on SmackDown, he wants another shot at proving Owens can’t do it twice.

Their No Holds Barred match was an absolute mess in the best possible way. Punk and Owens fought throughout the arena before bringing chairs, tables, a trash can and eventually a steel chain into the equation.

Punk even put Owens through a table with an elbow drop from the guardrail before later slamming him from the top rope onto a pile of chairs. Owens somehow survived both and eventually sent Punk crashing through tables at ringside with a fisherman’s buster. Even a Stunner wasn’t enough to finish Punk once they got back inside the ring. Owens ultimately grabbed the chain, avoided another GTS and used the weapon to put Punk down for the three-count.

Owens may have walked away with the win, but Punk clearly isn’t interested in letting him enjoy it for too long. Calling him a “human ham sandwich” and immediately demanding another match sounds a lot more like unfinished business than somebody ready to move on.

Should Kevin Owens give CM Punk the rematch, or did his No Holds Barred victory already settle the score? Let us know what you think in the comments.
