The Riott Squad Gets Involved
The Smackdown Women’s Championship will be defended in a Lumberjack match at Clash of Champions. There will only be like 7 lumberjacks, but as long as they do their job, I guess it’s fine. The thing is, half of those lumberjacks will be the Riott Squad. And they’re getting involved in the match somehow.
The Squad is out to prove their dominance and take over Smackdown’s women’s division. Having them interfere and possibly be involved in the match will solidify them as a top heel group on Smackdown. People may not be buying them as serious threats now (partly due to Liv Morgan being a ditz and Sarah Logan speaking incomprehensibly), but they might next Sunday.
Perhaps Carmella could take advantage of the chaos and cash in her Money in the Bank contract. This frees up Charlotte to take on the Riott Squad. This is still sort of unlikely, what with the balance of faces and heels in the women’s division being out of whack. One thing is for sure, though: the Riott Squad are going to beat some people down.

Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens Win
Imagine if Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens lost at Clash of Champions, were fired, and also ended up back on Raw. That would be super duper stupid. So they can’t lose. All the teasing of tension between Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan means that Bryan will somehow find a way to get involved. I just don’t see Shinsuke Nakamura and Randy Orton walking away from Boston victorious, but I don’t think Zayn and Owens are winning cleanly either. In conclusion, Daniel Bryan will do something in the match.
I want to believe that WWE knows better than to assume people will boo Daniel Bryan, because they won’t. The minute his music plays and he does whatever he’s going to do (attack Shane, fire a heat-seeking missile at Shane, teabag Shane’s body after he gets hit with a Powerbomb), the place will erupt. It will spontaneously combust if he hits a move. The people will probably not boo Daniel Bryan, that’s for sure.
I don’t know what WWE has planned for this story, be it a double turn or whatever, but having Smackdown lose Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn will deplete an already thin roster. WWE’s not that stupid. I hope.
