Chris Jericho randomly showed up in the Minnesota Vikings 2026 schedule release video — and wrestling fans definitely noticed.
As all 32 NFL teams dropped their schedules Thursday night, the Vikings went with a restaurant-themed video featuring Jericho playing a waiter serving up the team’s full season schedule.
Throughout the skit, the kitchen prepared food themed around each opponent on Minnesota’s upcoming schedule while Jericho delivered the dishes to customers.
The video even slipped in a sneaky reference to NFL insider Dianna Russini during the New England Patriots portion of the reveal.
The Vikings will officially open the 2026 season on September 13 against the Green Bay Packers. The team’s bye week lands in Week 6, while one of the biggest games of the year will happen November 22 when Minnesota faces the San Francisco 49ers in Mexico. Minnesota will close out the regular season against the Chicago Bears.
Jericho has crossed over into sports and entertainment projects plenty of times over the years, but fans probably weren’t expecting him to suddenly pop up helping reveal an NFL schedule.
