Chelsea Green pulled off a major upset at WWE Crown Jewel 2026, defeating Liv Morgan to win the Women’s Crown Jewel Championship. The WWE Women’s Champion survived a brutal match against the Women’s World Champion and overcame outside interference from Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez to secure the victory.
Green and Morgan entered the match looking to establish themselves as WWE’s top female champion. Morgan started aggressively, mocking Green early in the contest before taking control with a series of strikes and suplexes.
However, Green refused to stay down. She fought back with a superplex from the top rope and later connected with a Rough Ryder, nearly putting Morgan away.
The action intensified as both women repeatedly countered each other’s finishing moves. Morgan survived Green’s offense with multiple Codebreakers and even locked in a single-leg crab, but Green managed to reach the ropes.
Green eventually turned things around with a pair of suicide dives before connecting with a missile dropkick. She followed up by hitting her UnprettiHER finisher, but Morgan managed to get her foot on the bottom rope to stop the referee’s count.
That’s when things took an unexpected turn. As Green climbed to the top rope, Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez made their way to ringside. Their appearance distracted Green long enough for Morgan to knock her off the turnbuckles and send her crashing to the floor.
Morgan appeared to have the match under control after sending Green into the barricade and connecting with another Codebreaker. She then attempted her obLIVion finisher, but Green managed to counter the move into a sudden rollup. The referee counted three, giving Chelsea Green the victory and the Women’s Crown Jewel Championship.
The result was particularly significant considering Morgan had additional support at ringside in the closing moments. Despite the interference, Green found a way to win and leave Riyadh with another major accomplishment.
Green’s victory also means she has bragging rights over the Women’s World Champion, adding another achievement to her WWE Women’s Championship reign. Morgan, meanwhile, will have to deal with a loss that came despite Rodriguez and Perez attempting to help her.
Chelsea Green entered Crown Jewel with something to prove, and she left with the Women’s Crown Jewel Championship. Whether this victory changes how she’s viewed in WWE’s women’s division remains to be seen, but she now has a major win over Liv Morgan on her résumé.
