WWE released several Superstars from the company yesterday and it truly shocked the pro wrestling world. Chelsea Green was among the Superstars who were fired from WWE.
Green had an unfortunate run in WWE that was plagued with injuries. After two years in NXT, Green was finally called up to the main roster in November 2020 on WWE SmackDown. However, she suffered a wrist injury in her debut match and was on the shelf till her release.
Green took to Twitter and responded to a clip posted by Lucha Underground featuring her and AEW star Penta. She teased possibly going to AEW.
“Hmm…@PENTAELZEROM maybe I’ll see you sooner than you thought,”
We will have to see which promotion Chelsea Green will call her home next. AEW would be a good place for her as they are starting to focus on their women’s division.
