She informs that she was in the Marines for 8 years and it was the best thing she’s ever done. She eventually joined the SWAT team and she loved it, but her husband was stressed out by it because he couldn’t protect her there, and she consistently thought about her young daughter so a change was made.
Evans informs that “Lacey Evans” is actually her sister’s name in real life, and after WWE suggested she use it she called her sister and got her permission. She loves 1940s-1950s culture, and wanted to be a southern belle. She wants to prove that women can be classy and look good and still kick your ass.

Evans still doesn’t know if she’s officially on RAW or Smackdown, and she’s currently appearing on both shows. She’s a bit nervous because she doesn’t know the creative direction, but she’s very blessed to be in the situation she’s in.
She notes that she’s nervous before wrestling shows, and was nervous about debuting at this year’s Royal Rumble, but it’s a different kind of nervous than what she’s accustomed to. Now she’s just worried about slipping or falling, instead of worrying about bullets.
That sums up this week’s episode of Chasing Glory. You can listen to the show yourself anytime here, and I’ll catch ya next week for another recap!
