Charlotte Flair is making it clear Scarlett Guillen was never just a young fan she met along the way. After Scarlett’s family confirmed the eight-year-old had passed away following her battle with Diffuse Midline Glioma, Charlotte took to Twitter with a gut-wrenching tribute about the little girl who changed her life.

Charlotte opened by writing, “Thank you for the light you brought into my life,” before looking back at the day MJ Jenkins first told her there was a young fan who wanted to meet her. Charlotte said she was feeling sorry for herself at the time, but Scarlett ended up giving her something much bigger than a meet-and-greet moment.

“At a time when I was feeling sorry for myself, you gave me something so much greater than I could have ever given you. You gave me perspective. You taught me courage, gratitude, joy, and how precious every single moment truly is. Those lessons will stay with me for the rest of my life.”

That bond became a major part of Charlotte’s WWE journey. Scarlett designed entrance gear that Charlotte wore at Survivor Series: WarGames 2025, and Charlotte later dedicated her WrestleMania 42 entrance attire to Scarlett and her cancer battle. This was not some quick photo-op. Charlotte clearly stayed close to Scarlett and her family through the hardest chapter of their lives.

Charlotte also addressed Scarlett’s parents, Kim and Isiah, saying the way they loved their daughter through everything changed her forever. She wrote that even on the darkest days, they made sure Scarlett had something to smile about, something to look forward to, and a life full of laughter, hope, and unconditional love.

“The strength, grace, and selflessness you have shown as parents is beyond inspiring. I hope that one day I can be even half the parent you both are. Thank you for trusting me with your beautiful family, for letting me love Scarlett and Ellena, and for giving me memories I will cherish forever. You’re family now… you’re stuck with me. ❤️”

Charlotte then turned her attention to Scarlett’s sister Ellena, telling her that Scarlett will always be part of who she is. She said Ellena will carry Scarlett with her forever and honor her in everything she does, before making it clear that she plans to remain in Ellena’s life too.

“Now you’re my little sister too, kiddo, and I can’t wait to watch you grow into the incredible young woman Scarlett already knew you would become. I’ll be cheering you on every step of the way. 🫂”

The toughest part came when Charlotte spoke directly to Scarlett. She said Scarlett reminded everyone that a life is not measured by how long it lasts, but by the love it leaves behind. Charlotte ended the tribute by saying Scarlett’s light will live on through her family, friends, butterflies, diamonds, and every heart she touched.

“You will always be our butterfly. You will always be our diamond girl. You are loved beyond words, and you will never, ever be forgotten. Forever. 💜🦋💎”

The tribute comes as support continues pouring in for Scarlett’s family. Just hours after the news of her passing was shared, the GoFundMe had already reached $50,107 to help with funeral and memorial expenses. NBA star Tyrese Haliburton donated $10,000, Charlotte Flair, listed under her real name Ashley Fliehr, donated $8,000, and an anonymous donor also gave $10,000.

Scarlett’s family also shared their own heartbreaking message on GoFundMe, saying their daughter had “gained her angel wings” after an incredibly courageous fight. They remembered her as a bright, funny, loving little girl with “a contagious laugh, and a smile that could brighten even the darkest days.”

This is a brutal loss for Scarlett’s family and everyone who followed her story. Charlotte Flair’s message shows exactly why Scarlett’s impact went so far beyond wrestling. She was only eight years old, but she left a mark that people clearly will not forget.
