Charlotte Flair went all-out for Halloween this year, and she didn’t exactly pick a random costume. The WWE star transformed herself into Princess Diana, recreating one of the late royal’s most famous looks down to the dress, wig and accessories.
Flair took to Instagram to share several photos from the shoot, where she recreated Diana’s iconic black “revenge dress.” Charlotte completed the transformation with a short blonde wig, sunglasses and white accessories around her arms, making the Princess Diana inspiration pretty damn hard to miss. Charlotte also had a little fun combining Diana’s famous nickname with her own Queen persona in the caption.

But Charlotte wasn’t just recreating the look. She also included several Princess Diana quotes throughout the post, including one about people feeling unloved.
“The biggest disease this day and age is that of people feeling unloved.”
Another slide featured Diana’s famous words about following her heart rather than living by somebody else’s rules.
“I don’t go by the rule book… I lead from the heart, not the head.”
The final slide gave some extra context for anyone who didn’t immediately recognize the outfit. Charlotte was recreating the black off-the-shoulder dress Diana famously wore in 1994 on the same night a television interview aired in which Prince Charles admitted to infidelity during their marriage.
That history made the costume a little more interesting than Charlotte simply dressing up as another famous blonde for Halloween. Between “The People’s Princess,” “The Queen” and one of Diana’s most defiant fashion moments, Flair clearly knew exactly which version of Princess Diana fit her own WWE persona.
