Cathy Kelley loves food, but she knew hosting a show built around eating massive amounts of it could become a serious problem.

During a conversation with Jeremy Jacobowitz, the WWE personality revealed that she was approached several years ago about hosting a food series that was eventually produced for USA Network. Kelley said she was interested in doing a food show, but she immediately questioned whether she was the right person for a format that required the host to eat as much as possible.

“There have been—I was actually pitched a couple years ago to host a show which they ended up doing for USA Network—but eating as much as possible on the show, we have a problem.”

Kelley explained that she liked the general idea, but she was not convinced her body could handle filming that type of series on a regular basis. She then joked that production would have needed to spread the episodes out because she could only survive that kind of food challenge once a year.

“I said to them, ‘I would love to do a food show. I don’t know if I am the right qualified host to do that.’”

“We might have to space this out where I would only be able to eat all of that once a year.”

Kelley may have passed on that particular format, but she is still open to doing something involving food. She also showed interest in a WWE travel series that would help fans find the best places to eat while visiting cities for major wrestling events.

It sounds like Kelley wants a food show that lets her enjoy the experience without being forced to destroy an entire menu every week.
