Andy Williams — better known to wrestling fans as The Butcher — has died after collapsing at a wrestling show Saturday night, according to wrestling podcaster Famous Davis.
Davis shared the heartbreaking update late on Twitter, saying he received word that Williams passed away at Allegheny General Hospital after being rushed there from Enjoy Wrestling’s Five Years event in the Pittsburgh area.
“I just received word Andy Williams also known as The Butcher has sadly passed away at Allegheny General Hospital earlier this evening after collapsing at a local wrestling event.”

The news comes just after Williams collapsed at the end of his match at Mr. Smalls Theatre in Millvale, Pennsylvania. Enjoy Wrestling previously confirmed that the situation immediately turned into a medical emergency, with doctors at the venue performing CPR on Williams until an ambulance arrived. Enjoy Wrestling shut down the rest of the event, sent everyone home and said members of the promotion had gone to the hospital while waiting for more information.
Williams was best known to wrestling fans as The Butcher, teaming for years with The Blade and competing in AEW after building his name on the independent scene. Outside wrestling, Williams had an entirely separate career as a musician and was the guitarist for Every Time I Die.
