Jade Cargill had a rough moment on WWE SmackDown, but Bully Ray says she deserves credit for powering through it.

The awkward situation went down during the June 12 episode of SmackDown, where Cargill battled Charlotte Flair, Lyra Valkyria, and Sol Ruca in a Queen of the Ring first-round Fatal Four-Way match. Charlotte ended up winning, but a lot of fans were talking about Jade after her wig came loose during the match. It happened when Flair and Ruca hit a top-rope superplex, forcing Cargill to roll out of the ring and try to fix things on the fly.

That could have thrown anyone off, but Jade kept going. She worked through the issue, held things together, and stayed involved in the match until the end. Bully Ray gave her props on Busted Open Radio and said fans should not be clowning her for something that can happen to anyone in the ring.

“I’m giving a shout out to Jade Cargill. Good job, girlfriend. You were put in a very rough uncomfortable situation.”

Bully pointed out that wardrobe problems and accidents happen in wrestling all the time, no matter who is in the ring.

“Lot of people making fun of Jade on social media over the weekend for the unfortunate mishap of the wig. It happens, wardrobe malfunctions happen, hair extensions get pulled out. Dudes have crapped themselves in the ring, anything can happen.”

He also said it would have been easy for Jade to hide under the ring and hope the cameras missed it, but she did not do that. She stayed in the match and finished the job.

“For a woman to have her wig come off on national television, it’s pretty easy to roll out and roll under the ring, and hopefully nobody sees you, right? She persevered, she kept on trucking, and she got through the match. She did what she had to do. Good job, Jade.”

Jade Cargill did not win the match, but she still earned respect for how she handled a bad situation live on national television.
