Brooke Hogan is releasing new music, and the biggest twist is where it’s coming from. She’s releasing it through Sobe Entertainment, the same label she previously claimed her father Hulk Hogan, had her kicked off years ago.

On April 27, 2026, Brooke took to Instagram to announce her next single, confirming she’s working with Sobe Entertainment again and stepping back into the sound that first connected with her audience. As she hyped up the release, Brooke made it clear she’s embracing a nostalgic, hip-hop-influenced direction for the track.

“We are now entering tourism season. You know what that means? It means we’re letting the bull out of the cage. Which also means on May 1st, ‘TRY AGAIN’ drops—yes, it’s a cover of our beautiful, dear Aaliyah. Yes, it slaps. You guys asked for hip hop—oh, Brookie—you asked for urban music, nostalgia—well, we’re serving it to you on a hot, smoking platter, baby.”

She also shared her excitement about the production and the process behind the song, making it clear this is something she’s personally invested in.

“I’m very excited—I love this record. I think Vinny, the producer, did a fabulous job on it. I tried to do my best honoring our dear Aaliyah. And it’s fitting, right? Been a long time.”

That announcement hits differently when one goes back to August 2025, when Brooke appeared on The Bubba the Love Sponge Show and learned, in real time, that her original deal with Sobe may not have ended the way she thought. During that interview, Bubba dropped a claim that completely blindsided her, bringing up the letter she received on Christmas that she believed came from the label.

“Do you remember that inside your Christmas present was a letter from Sobe releasing you from your contract? Do you know that your dad is the one that wrote that letter? That didn’t come from Sobe. That came from your father, because he was trying to blow up your Sobe deal. He wanted to sign Paul Wight to a boxing contract and do all this other stuff with Cecil — I forget the guy’s full name — but yeah.”

From there, Brooke Hogan opened up about how deeply that moment affected her, explaining how she had spent years blaming the label while never knowing the full story.

“I literally just… I don’t know if you saw the news, but I just re-signed with Sobe after my dad’s passing. I didn’t know what I did wrong. I was crying. I was so upset. I was in love with the guy I was working with… we did amazing music together. It was the most fun I ever had in my life.”

She also recalled exactly how she reacted that night, believing she had been dropped without explanation. Looking back, Brooke made it clear that the situation left a lasting impact on both her personal life and her career.

“I walked into The Forge in Miami that same night, sobbing. I was just like, ‘Daddy, you can’t be friends with them anymore. I can’t believe they would do this.’ I had no idea he was behind it.

Don’t talk to me about your investment in my music career when I brought those people to the table. I know I wouldn’t be where I am without my dad — he was the catalyst. But it always felt like the second I got going, he pulled the rug out from under me.”

Now, with her return to the same label and a new release on the way, Brooke is definitely reclaiming that part of her career on her own terms. This isn’t just a comeback; it’s a full-circle moment, and one that shows she’s not letting the past define what comes next.

Do you think Brooke Hogan returning to Sobe Entertainment makes this comeback more meaningful, or does the history behind it change how you see it? Let us know your thoughts and feedback.
