Bronson Reed came back to WWE looking noticeably leaner, and now he’s putting a number on the transformation himself. Reed says he is roughly 90 to 100 pounds lighter than he was at his heaviest.
Reed addressed the dramatic weight loss after returning at Sunday Night’s Main Event, revealing just how far his weight has dropped since coming back to WWE at the end of 2022.
“By the time I’m back, I’ll probably be around 265-270 pounds. And at my heaviest, when I came back to WWE at the end of 2022, I was 365 pounds. So you’re looking at about 90-100 pound difference since then to now, in the last 3-4 years.”
Reed didn’t make the change just for looks either. While recovering from the torn biceps that kept him out of action, he used the downtime to get into better shape and rethink how he wanted to come back. He also made it clear that standing still in WWE is a good way to get passed by.
“I feel like if you don’t evolve, you die. Especially in this business, you have to keep moving with the times. And I’m watching wrestling all the time. I think that puts me in the mood to have like a target and a goal of what I want to do.”
Fans got their first major look at Reed’s new frame when he returned during Bron Breakker vs. Oba Femi at Sunday Night’s Main Event. Reed stormed the ring, attacked Femi with a steel chair and reunited with Breakker before dropping multiple Tsunamis on Femi. The interference gave Femi the disqualification win, but the bigger visual coming out of the segment was Reed himself. After months away, he returned looking far different from the 365-pound version fans saw when he came back to WWE in 2022.
The Vision is also nearly whole again with Reed back alongside Breakker, Austin Theory and Maxxine Dupri. Logan Paul remains on television while recovering from a torn triceps. Reed didn’t dodge the obvious after his comeback. He knows everyone noticed the weight loss, and now he’s confirmed just how big the change really is — nearly 100 pounds from his heaviest point.
