Broken Matt Hardy is back — and he picked the perfect moment to show up and help Jeff Hardy score a win.

During the April 30 episode of TNA iMPACT Wrestling, Jeff Hardy faced Vincent after Vincent and Dutch recently turned their backs on The Hardy Boyz. The match was already tense, but the ending took things to another level.

As Vincent climbed to the top rope looking to finish the match, the lights suddenly went out. When the lights came back on, Broken Matt Hardy was standing right in front of Vincent while he was still on the ropes. Matt then hit his signature “DELETE” taunt, sending the crowd into a frenzy.

Moments later, the lights went out again. When they came back on, Jeff Hardy was suddenly on the top rope while Vincent was laid out on the mat. Jeff wasted no time, hitting his finisher and pinning Vincent for the win.

This marked Matt Hardy’s first appearance as Broken Matt Hardy since The Hardy Boyz returned to TNA last year. The return adds to the feud after Vincent and Dutch betrayed the Hardys.

Right now, it’s still not clear if Matt Hardy will keep using the Broken character moving forward, but the reaction to his return made one thing obvious — fans haven’t forgotten about Broken Matt.
