Britt Baker accepted Rebel’s ALS Ice Bucket Challenge—but one name she called out caught wrestling fans completely off guard.
After Rebel challenged several wrestling stars as part of her campaign to raise awareness for ALS, Baker posted her own Ice Bucket Challenge video on Twitter. Before getting drenched, she nominated a number of fellow wrestlers to keep the campaign going, including Chris Jericho, Renee Paquette, The Young Bucks, Kris Statlander, Orange Cassidy and Thunder Rosa.
Then she mentioned someone fans probably weren’t expecting: “I nominate Adam Cole… bay bay.” Baker even smiled and threw up Adam Cole’s signature “Bay Bay” hand gesture before the challenge continued, a moment that quickly grabbed fans’ attention, given the former couple’s well-publicized relationship.
Seconds later, Gail Kim stepped in and dumped the bucket of ice water over Baker’s head. The freezing water got an immediate reaction as she said, “It’s cold! It’s cold!” Despite the shock, Baker laughed it off and encouraged others to keep the challenge moving.

Baker’s video came a day after Rebel shared her own Ice Bucket Challenge following her terminal ALS diagnosis. Rebel was soaked by Baker during her video and used the opportunity to nominate several wrestling stars while encouraging fans to help raise awareness for the disease.
Now, Baker has passed the challenge on—and by adding Adam Cole to her list, she gave fans one more unexpected moment to talk about while helping shine a light on a cause that means so much to Rebel.
