Braun Strowman may not be back in wrestling right now, but he is not acting like the door is closed. The former WWE Superstar made it very clear that the right offer could change his schedule in a hurry.
Strowman appeared on Jonathan Coachman’s Off The Ropes podcast and admitted that he still misses parts of the wrestling business. He said a recent AAA match between Chad Gable and Ludwig Kaiser reminded him why he loved wrestling in the first place.
“You want to honestly know what happened recently. That Triple A match between Gable and Ludwig, that match made me feel. It made me remember why I love professional wrestling. And it made me go, I can go.”
Strowman also said he misses being in the ring and in the locker room, even though he does not miss everything else that comes with the job. That led Coachman to ask whether his schedule would allow a wrestling return if Tony Khan or Triple H called with the right role. Strowman did not dance around the answer.
“A number with enough zeros behind it, my schedule will open up.”
That is about as direct as it gets. Strowman did not say he is begging for a return, and he did not name one company as his preferred landing spot, but he made it clear money would matter.
Strowman has been away from WWE, but his name still carries weight because of his size, look, and past run as one of the company’s top monsters. If a promotion wants that presence badly enough, Strowman sounds like he is willing to listen.
