Braun Strowman is getting tossed into a completely different kind of fight. The former WWE monster is joining Season 3 of Netflix’s Million Dollar Secret, where throwing people across a ring won’t help nearly as much as figuring out who’s lying.
Deadline says Strowman, real name Adam Scherr, is part of the new celebrity-heavy cast for the reality competition series. Netflix used everyday contestants for the first two seasons, but Season 3 is switching things up and loading the house with recognizable faces instead.
That means Strowman is walking into a cast packed with reality stars, actors, comedians and athletes. Olympian Adam Rippon, Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia, Christine Quinn, Chris Redd, David Arquette, Melora Hardin, Bridget Everett, Chelley Bissainthe, Chloe Veitch, Dom Gabriel, Phoebe Robinson and Summer House alum West Wilson are also in the mix.
For Strowman, this is another move into television outside the wrestling bubble. He spent years wrecking people in WWE, but now he’s stepping into a game built around secrets, strategy and trying not to get played by everybody else in the room.
That should make things interesting fast. Strowman is used to being the biggest guy in the building, but Million Dollar Secret isn’t exactly a place where being able to flip an ambulance gives you an automatic advantage.
Netflix is clearly going bigger with the third season, and bringing in Strowman gives wrestling fans a reason to check out a show they might not have touched otherwise. If nothing else, watching Braun Strowman try to survive a house full of reality-TV chaos sounds like something that could get weird in a hurry.
