Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi are officially heading for a rematch at WWE Clash in Italy.
The blockbuster sequel was confirmed during Saturday Night’s Main Event after WWE aired the match graphic for Lesnar vs. Femi II and revealed that all Oba Femi has left to do is sign the contract.
The rematch comes weeks after Femi shocked the wrestling world by defeating Lesnar in the opening match of WrestleMania 42 Night Two. After the loss, Lesnar removed his gloves and boots in the ring, saluted the crowd and embraced Paul Heyman in a moment many fans viewed as a possible retirement tease.
That did not last long. Lesnar returned on the May 18 episode of RAW on Netflix and immediately attacked Oba Femi, reigniting the rivalry. Later that night, RAW General Manager Adam Pearce confronted Paul Heyman backstage, where Heyman already had a contract signed by Lesnar for a Clash in Italy match against Femi. Now WWE has made the match official.
