AEW brought Double or Nothing to Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens, New York, with FTR defending the AEW World Tag Team Titles against Adam Copeland and Christian Cage in a brutal “I Quit” match.

The match quickly spiraled into chaos with ladders, chairs, tables, and outside interference from Stokely Hathaway. Copeland and Cage were also fighting to keep their team alive, since a loss would mean they could never team again.

The biggest moment came when Beth Copeland made her shocking AEW return for the first time since September 2025, when FTR famously piledrove her in the middle of the ring. Her appearance completely changed the atmosphere as the ring was dismantled, tables were set on fire, and the opening match turned into total destruction.

Beth Copeland had a big hand in the finish of this match, as she got Spike from underneath the ring steps. In the end, Adam Copeland used Spike against Dax Harwood to get him to say “I Quit,” and that ended the match with new champions.

We will have to see what the WWE Hall of Famer does next, because Beth Copeland could find a regular spot in AEW. If anything, it was good to see her at Double or Nothing.
