The Bella Twins traded the wrestling ring for the Octagon on September 12. Nikki and Brie Bella showed up at UFC Noche in Glendale, Arizona, and TKO made sure WWE fans knew they were in the building.
TKO uploaded a video to Instagram featuring the WWE stars inside Desert Diamond Arena during the event. Brie kicked things off before Nikki jumped in to introduce them together: Brie Bella said, “Hey, hey everyone! It’s WWE Superstars Brie.” Nikki Bella then followed it up.
“And Nikki. The Bella Twins! And we’re here at UFC celebrating Mexican Independence, heritage, and seeing a lot of amazing fights. Oh my gosh!”
Their appearance came as UFC Noche celebrated Mexican Independence and heritage, with Jean Silva vs. Jose Miguel Delgado headlining the card. Nikki has already been back in the middle of WWE business recently, but this time Brie was right alongside her. The sisters appearing together at a UFC event also gave TKO another easy opportunity to put its WWE and UFC worlds in the same place.
Booker T did something similar earlier this year when he attended UFC Houston at the Toyota Center on February 21. The WWE Hall of Famer was shown cageside during the broadcast, waving to the camera and flashing his Hall of Fame rings.
AJ Styles has also previously appeared around UFC events, making these WWE-UFC crossovers increasingly familiar under the TKO umbrella. This time, it was Nikki and Brie getting the camera time as UFC Noche celebrated in Arizona.
