Becky Lynch doesn’t see Roman Reigns. She doesn’t see Cody Rhodes. She doesn’t even see Seth Rollins. When “The Man” looks at WWE’s future, she’s looking somewhere else entirely.

Speaking to The Female Quotient, Lynch made it clear she believes the company’s next generation of biggest stars won’t come from the men’s locker room. In her mind, the future of WWE belongs to the women.

“I’m so proud of the women’s division in WWE. Totally changed the game. At one point, I don’t think anybody would’ve thought that we would’ve had Intercontinental Titles, Tag Titles, US Titles, would main event WrestleMania. We’ve done it all. I don’t really sit back and think about what we’ve done because I’m always like, ‘Where are we going? Let’s keep going. Let’s keep moving.’ I feel very optimistic about where we’re going in the future because we have incredibly talented women that are doing amazing stuff.”

For Lynch, everything the division has already accomplished is old news. WrestleMania main events happened. New championships happened. The goalposts moved years ago. She’s already looking at the next thing.

“When I look at the future of WWE and I think of the main eventers who are going to be our biggest stars, most of the time, I don’t think of the men, I think of the women.”

It’s a statement that lands differently because Lynch isn’t talking about potential. She’s talking about expectation. She believes the women aren’t chasing the company’s biggest spots anymore—they’re going to own them.

If you’ve been listening to Lynch lately, none of this comes out of nowhere. During her earlier conversation with Stephanie McMahon, she said the women’s division still had “a lot of stories to be told” because the roster is finally getting the opportunity to show everything it can do. Nikki Bella echoed a similar feeling by saying she believes WWE’s women’s division has become stronger than the men’s. Now Lynch has put an even bigger prediction on the table.

Do you think Becky Lynch is right, or will WWE’s biggest stars continue to come from the men’s division? Let us know in the comments below.
