Becky Lynch has finally broken her silence after WWE cut one of RAW’s biggest lines from the Netflix replay. Instead of complaining about it, The Man had a laugh and admitted she’s making life a little harder for the people behind the scenes.
While appearing on Off The Ball, Lynch was reminded that WWE edited out her shot at Dominik Mysterio after the August 3 edition of RAW hit Netflix. Lynch smiled and didn’t deny it.
“They did. I make a lot of work for these people.”
The line quickly became one of the most talked-about moments from RAW after Lynch looked Liv Morgan in the eye and said:
“You’re not even the greatest women’s champion to sleep with Dominik Mysterio.”
Fans watching live heard every word. By the time RAW landed on Netflix, the joke had vanished. That immediately led to speculation that Lynch had gone into business for herself, but Dave Meltzer later reported the opposite. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the line was on the script before RAW went on the air and had already been approved by Triple H and other WWE officials.
Lynch didn’t reveal why WWE decided to remove the line after the fact, but judging by her reaction, she isn’t losing any sleep over it. If anything, she’s happy to let everyone else worry about cleaning up the mess.
