Ash By Elegance finally has some answers after a health battle that once threatened to end her wrestling career.
While speaking to That Sweet Pop, Ash opened up about the medical issues that forced her into a terrifying place. She said she was basically pushed toward retirement at one point because her body was dealing with something serious, but she recently found out what was going on.
“Unfortunately, things were put in my path that I was kind of forced into retirement. I had some major health issues that I finally got figured out a couple weeks ago.”
That is a big update considering Ash previously described her condition as a “medical mystery” and revealed she had spent time in the ICU without many people knowing. She also said doctors once told her she might not wrestle again, which clearly shook her because wrestling has been such a huge part of her life.
Now, Ash says the experience changed how she looks at everything. Instead of taking the business for granted, she is treating every match and every chance to step into the ring as something bigger.
“I was always, I had big goals, big dreams, but unfortunately things, that’s just a life lesson that I think I was kind of forced to deal with, is you have to take everything day by day and every day you wake up is a blessing.”
She said that mindset now carries into wrestling. Every opportunity matters more because she knows how quickly things can change. Most importantly, Ash said her health is finally more under control.
“Every time I get an opportunity in that ring, it’s a blessing. And when I come out the other side and knowing what I may get into the next day, that’s really kind of where I shift my focus to. But right now, my health is first and foremost. I got that under control.”
Bottom line, Ash By Elegance is not just pushing through blindly anymore. After surgery, ICU scares, and being told her wrestling future might be over, she says she finally has answers — and now her focus is keeping her health first while making every chance in the ring count.
