The Royal Rumble event didn’t go down without some last-minute changes. We are unsure why everyone was pulled from the show, but we have learned of another Superstar who was planned for the big event, but he was not used.
During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer revealed that Angel Garza was booked for the Royal Rumble pay-per-view, but he was pulled from the show. It wasn’t noted why he was taken off the event.
“Angel Garza was going to be in, but then he got pulled.”
We haven’t seen the Lothario on television, and his character has faded away to a great extent. He certainly isn’t receiving the same attention he once did when Vince McMahon saw him as the next Eddie Guerrero.
