Andrade El Ídolo just lost the AEW National Championship, but he’s not asking Tommaso Ciampa for another shot. He’s already looking at something much bigger.

Following the November 7 episode of AEW Collision, Andrade took to Twitter and revealed that his next goal is the AEW World Championship currently held by Will Ospreay. He framed the loss as something to learn from rather than a reason to hit the brakes.

“You learn more from losing than winning.
You learn how to keep going!
Face up
The next goal, the AEW World Championship. Waiting for the perfect time and place.
Where and against whom would you like me to face off?
Thank you AEW FANS, for believing in me!
See you today in EL PASO TEXAS”

Ciampa ended Andrade’s reign on Collision after catching him with a roll-up following a chaotic match aboard the Norwegian Jewel. The win gave the Psycho Killer the championship he had previously failed to take from Andrade.

Now Andrade’s attention is somewhere else entirely. He didn’t specifically challenge Ospreay or reveal when he plans to go after the World Title, instead saying he’s waiting for the “perfect time and place.”

That leaves Andrade with plenty of room to make his move whenever he decides the opportunity is right. Losing the National Championship could end up being less of a setback and more of the thing that pushes him directly into AEW’s World Title picture.

Would you like to see Andrade challenge Will Ospreay for the AEW World Championship, and where should that match happen? Let us know what you think in the comments.
