Alberto Del Rio Called the Best “Heel in Any Company” Amid WWE Return Rumors

Alberto Del Rio’s currently the talk of the town since there’s plenty of speculation about him possibly returning to WWE. While speculation continues, Konnan claimed that Del Rio’s the best heel in any company.

While speaking on the Keepin’ It 100 podcast, Konnan talked about Alberto Del Rio’s talent as a heel, calling him one of the best in any company. He explained that he and Alberto worked well together because they shared the same vision.

“Alberto was just like I said, bro, no disrespect to anybody, and if it is taken, then good. The guy was probably the best heel in any company, you know? So me and him worked perfectly, like we had the same vision of what we wanted to do, right?”

Konnan also mentioned that during Triplemanía, fans began chanting for Alberto and Rey Mysterio responded by assuring the crowd he would bring him back, which the audience believed because of Rey’s credibility.

“I don’t know if you heard this, but the people started to chant ‘Alberto, Alberto,’ and Rey Mysterio actually said, ‘Don’t worry, I’m going to bring him out later.’ And he has so much credibility that they believed him and popped.”

This comes after several top WWE Superstars such as Roman Reigns, Undertaker, Cody Rhodes and more want to see Alberto Del Rio back in the company following his AAA departure.

We have previously reported that there are no plans for Del Rio to go to the U.S., but that could change. So only time will tell whether Mexico’s Greatest Export will make his way back to WWE eventually.
