The AJ Styles Show is officially finished, and the plug was pulled just seven months after the former WWE Champion jumped into the podcast game.
AJ Styles originally launched the project in March 2026 alongside Tony Giles under the name The Phenomenally Retro Podcast. The show eventually became The AJ Styles Show, but that run has now come to an abrupt end with no new episodes coming.
The podcast’s social media account dropped the news on September 19, thanking fans for sticking around while making it clear the show itself is dead. The old episodes aren’t being wiped away, but the channel is already being turned into something completely different.

The old episodes will still be available, however, the channel is going nowhere and will be repurposed shortly.

That repurposing didn’t take long. The social media handle has already been changed over to The Loose Cart Podcast, a new show hosted by Tony Giles and John Riggs, effectively closing the book on Styles’ name being attached to the project.
No reason was given for why The AJ Styles Show came to an end, so there’s no indication that there was any kind of blowup behind the scenes. What is clear is that the podcast went from launching with Styles in March to having his name stripped off the entire operation by September.
The show had also become a regular source of comments from Styles about WWE and the wrestling business. Styles used the podcast to discuss everything from his role scouting talent for WWE to his thoughts on the company’s younger generation, including explaining how he evaluates wrestlers in his post-ring WWE role.
Styles also wasn’t shy about giving his opinion on the modern wrestling scene during the podcast’s short run. He called out the tribal warfare between WWE and AEW fans and used the show to give fans a much more relaxed look at what was on his mind away from WWE television.
Seven months later, that microphone has gone silent. The episodes will live on, but The AJ Styles Show itself is finished and Tony Giles is already moving forward with a completely different podcast in its place.
