AJ Francis has had enough of the dirt sheets picking and choosing when they want to scream about TNA.
TNA announced that Allie has officially signed with the company, and Francis wasted no time jumping on Twitter/X to call out the way wrestling media covers the company. His point was simple: if outlets are going to blast every exit, release, or departure, then they better keep that same energy when TNA signs talent too.
After TNA posted the Allie signing announcement, Francis reposted it and fired off a message aimed directly at the dirt sheets.
“Make sure yall report this and Tasha re-signing as loudly and proudly as yall report people being granted their release that they asked for.”
That was not subtle, and it clearly came after a busy stretch of TNA headlines. Recent TNA exits and departures have included Steve Maclin, Myla Grace, Tessa Blanchard, Tommy Dreamer, Sami Callihan, and digital producer Luke Paron. Those names got plenty of attention online, and Francis clearly wants the good news treated the same way.
Francis also brought up Tasha Steelz, who recently re-signed with TNA. That was another piece of positive roster news that he clearly feels did not get the same loud treatment as the company’s exits.
AJ Francis is not asking the dirt sheets to ignore TNA’s bad news. He is telling them to stop acting like the good news does not exist. Allie signed. Tasha Steelz re-signed. TNA has taken some hits lately, but Francis wants the positive moves covered just as loudly as the departures.
