AEW has lost one of its top corporate executives, and he’s already landed back with a company under the TKO umbrella. After spending just one year with AEW, Justin Street has officially moved on.
According to PWInsider, Street departed AEW in October after serving as the company’s Senior Vice President of Corporate Partnerships and Sales. His role put him on the business side of the promotion, particularly when it came to partnerships and sponsorship opportunities.
Street didn’t stay on the market for very long either. He has reportedly returned to Professional Bull Riders, better known as PBR, which is owned by TKO Group Holdings. The move is actually a return to familiar territory for Street. Before joining AEW, he spent seven years with PBR as its Senior Vice President of Corporate Partnerships and Media Sales.
That makes his AEW stint a relatively short stop between two runs with PBR. There’s currently no indication that Street’s departure involved any drama, but it does mean AEW has lost a senior executive from its corporate partnerships and sales operation after only a year with the company.
Street now finds himself working within the larger TKO organization, which also owns WWE and UFC. Instead of jumping directly from AEW to WWE, however, he’s returning to the bull-riding organization where he already spent a significant chunk of his career.
