The November 7 episode of Collision is expected to be a great show and will build towards the Full Gear pay-per-view. That’s exactly why AEW has put together a strong lineup to keep fans entertained throughout the night.
AEW National Championship: Andrade El Idolo (c) vs. Tommaso Ciampa
Tommaso Ciampa gets another shot at Andrade El Idolo and the AEW National Championship. Ciampa has already tried to take the title from Andrade, but he wasn’t able to get the job done. Now AEW is giving him another chance to change that tonight. For Andrade, it’s another opportunity to put Ciampa behind him and continue his reign. For Ciampa, there aren’t many excuses left if he comes up short against the champion again.
Best-of-Five Series – Match Four: FTR vs. Motor City Machine Guns
The Motor City Machine Guns are one win away from ending this. Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin lead FTR 2-1 in their best-of-five series, meaning another victory tonight gives them the whole thing.
Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler don’t have that luxury. FTR needs to win Match Four to tie the series at 2-2 and force a deciding fifth match. That makes this pretty simple: the Machine Guns can finish the job tonight, while FTR is fighting to keep the series alive.
Persephone vs. Mina Shirakawa
Persephone isn’t getting much time to recover from Wednesday. Just days after competing inside Blood & Guts, the former TBS Champion returns to singles competition against Mina Shirakawa. Blood & Guts was already a physically brutal night, so Persephone comes into Collision with a quick turnaround against an opponent who doesn’t have that same problem. Mina gets the chance to take advantage of it.
Chris Jericho vs. Blake Christian
Chris Jericho and Blake Christian meet one-on-one tonight. AEW hasn’t provided much additional story behind this one, so the match itself is the attraction. Christian gets a chance to knock off one of AEW’s most experienced names, while Jericho will be looking to make sure that opportunity doesn’t turn into an upset.
