WWE’s developmental cuts aren’t slowing down, and Adriana Rizzo is now the latest name out.
Sean Ross Sapp revealed on September 4, 2026 that Rizzo is part of WWE’s latest round of cuts, adding another familiar NXT face to a list that has already grown throughout the night.
Rizzo, whose real name is Anna Keefer, joined WWE after a track and field background and eventually found her biggest role as “Big Rizz” in The D’Angelo Family. She became part of the group alongside Tony D’Angelo, Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo and Luca Crusifino, handling plenty of the family business while also getting increasingly involved inside the ring.
Her role eventually grew beyond backstage segments. Rizzo competed alongside D’Angelo and Stacks against OTM at NXT Vengeance Day in 2024 and later became more active in the NXT women’s division.
The D’Angelo Family eventually fell apart, leaving Rizzo on her own and moving toward a singles run. She had also recently returned to in-ring competition after spending more than a year away, making the timing of her release another notable part of this latest round of cuts. Rizzo now joins several other developmental names who have been let go on September 4.

This round of cuts continues to hit WWE’s developmental system rather than the main roster, and with names continuing to surface throughout the night, Rizzo may not be the last one out.
Rizzo spent years becoming part of one of NXT’s most recognizable factions and had only recently started getting another shot to show what she could do on her own. Now “Big Rizz” is officially back on the market as WWE keeps clearing space inside developmental.
