AEW brought Double or Nothing to Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens, New York, with multiple titles on the line, including FTR defending the AEW World Tag Team Titles against Adam Copeland and Christian Cage in an “I Quit” match.
The match was a brutal one, with everyone bringing their A-Game to the pay-per-view. Weapons were brought out, and then Adam Copeland suffered a very unfortunate wardrobe malfunction.
Fans may remember that Brock Lesnar famously ripped his trunks in a very intimate area in WWE a while ago. It seems that Adam Copeland was taking notes, because his gear was ripped open in a very revealing area at Double or Nothing.
This tag team match brought out a lot, and they even dismantled the ring. Through it all, Adam Copeland kept on going, and it doesn’t seem that his torn gear affected that at all.
We will have to see what happens with Adam Copeland in AEW from this point on. He may bring this up in a promo later on. Only time will tell how things pan out. We just hope that Adam Copeland has a spare set of pants handy backstage.
