Lucha Libre AAA will air another live show on FOX this week and this time it’s the special Heroes Inmortales event, which is why the company has booked a stacked card in order to guarantee fans have a great time from start to finish.
AAA Mega Championship: El Grande Americano (c) vs. Dominik Mysterio
Dominik Mysterio wants the AAA Mega Championship back, and this time he’s bringing some serious backup. Dominik earned another shot at El Grande Americano after his team defeated Americano and Rey Mysterio on the October 3 episode of AAA. That puts him back in position to reclaim the championship he previously lost to Americano.
There’s another problem for the champion tonight. Dominik will have Omos and Dorian Roldán in his corner, giving Americano a lot more to worry about than just the man standing across the ring from him. Americano has already proven he can beat Dominik. Doing it again with Omos and Roldán hanging around ringside could be a very different challenge.
AAA World Cruiserweight Championship: Rey Fenix (c) vs. Mini Vikingo
Rey Fenix has another challenger waiting for his Cruiserweight Championship. Mini Vikingo gets a direct one-on-one opportunity at the title tonight after recently competing in the Fatal Four-Way No. 1 Contender’s Match at Worlds Collide.
Fenix has been busy defending the championship since winning it, including surviving a Fatal Four-Way defense at TripleMania 34 Night 2. This time there aren’t three other challengers involved. It’s just Fenix and Vikingo, with one of AAA’s championships going home with the winner.
AAA World Trios Championship: Los Perros del Mal (c) vs. La Parka, Mr. Iguana & Niño Hamburguesa
Los Perros del Mal have three very different challengers coming after their titles. The AAA World Trios Champions defend against La Parka, Mr. Iguana and Niño Hamburguesa, putting another one of AAA’s major championships on the line.
La Parka and Mr. Iguana have both become regular parts of AAA’s current WWE partnership, while Niño Hamburguesa gives the team another completely different element. Los Perros del Mal have the advantage of being the established championship unit. Their challengers will have to figure out whether their very different styles can work together well enough to take the titles.
Other Matches and Segments
La Catalina will defend the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship against Flammer and La Hiedra. In another match, El Fiscal squares off agaist Abismo Negro Jr. Finally, Marisela Peña will be inducted into the AAA Hall of Fame.
